Island Savings a division of First West Credit Union staff were proud to present the Cowichan Valley Basket Society with a donation of $3,520. The money was raised through a number of recent fundraisers including a staff BBQ, canteen sales and Beer and Burger night at the Ramada Inn. With the buying power of the local food bank where $1 can provide the equivalent of 3 meals, the donation will help to create more than 10,560 meals for those in need.
