Vote now for Salt Spring Island School Gardens by selecting an emoji below! Winning the $50,000 SimpleGenerosity grant from Island Savings a division of First West Credit Union would help them expand the garden program at schools across the district. The program teaches children one of life's great lessons - how to grow your own food and have a deeper appreciation for the work it takes to produce the food that we enjoy. They would like to build a greenhouse-classroom, make improvements to already existing gardens and further expand the secondary school’s culinary program. Thank you for helping us celebrate Canada150 and strengthening our communities with SimpleGenerosity!
