Winning the $50,000 SimpleGenerosity grant from Island Savings a division of First West Credit Union would provide the funding they need to run the program, purchase equipment for sport wheelchairs to make the program more inclusive, and purchase additional equipment to offer moer sports and activities for kids. They believe no kid should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports. All children in the community aged 18 under are able to participate in a season of sport of their choice. Alone, they have helped over 600 children get to play an organized sport.
