Winning the $50,000 SimpleGenerosity grant from Island Savings a division of First West Credit Union will enable them to do much needed field improvements that allows for the continued growth year over year. With eight separate divisions, the Association is exploring options to accommodate extra teams including a softball program for girls. In order to accomplish this new fencing needs to be installed, along with new base paths and a dual rubber pitching mound. With two fields having the ability to house the same age group, they have the opportunity to host tournaments all the way up to the Provincial level. This in turn allows the association to generate income to continue our mission of providing children the opportunity to play baseball at all levels into the future.
