Members of the setup team help to transform an ice rink into a world-class art show. Coming into its 31st year, the Sooke Fine Arts Show is Vancouver Island’s longest-running juried fine art show, attracting more than 8,000 visitors each year from Canada, the U.S and abroad. The 11-day show has a small army of approximately 300 dedicated volunteers who devote more than 10,000 hours annually. Each year, this collective love for community and the arts helps to create what has come to be recognized as the region’s premier summer arts event. www.sookefinearts.com
