Artists Anne Boquist and Linda Anderson help to hang art for the Sooke Fine Arts Show. Coming into its 31st year, the 11-day show is Vancouver Island’s longest-running juried fine art show, attracting more than 8,000 visitors each year from Canada, the U.S and abroad. The show has a small army of approximately 300 dedicated volunteers who devote more than 10,000 hours annually. Each year, this collective love for community and the arts helps to create a world-class show that is well recognized as the region’s premier summer arts event. www.sookefinearts.com
